Chewy Dehydrated Papaya Strips

Ripe papaya is sliced into strips and dried slowly at low temperature until it turns into a soft, chewy snack with a deep, honey-like sweetness. This process is gentler than freeze-drying — instead of a crisp texture, you get a dense, satisfying chew similar to a fruit leather, but with visible fruit texture in every strip. There’s no added sugar and no preservatives; papaya is naturally sweet enough on its own once the water is drawn out. These strips travel well without crumbling, making them a good pick for backpacks, gym bags, or office drawers. Keep the pack sealed and stored in a cool spot, and the strips will stay chewy for weeks without hardening or drying out further.
